Service Description

Human Works is a theatre and dance company co-founded and co-directed by Adrián Minkowicz and Anne-Linn Akselsen. Anne-Linn is a dancer, choreographer, and professor of dance at the National Academy of the Arts in Oslo. Since its founding in 2009, Human Works has served as the creative platform for the duo's collaborative theatre and dance projects. Adrián Minkowicz is the writer, director, and dramaturg for the company’s productions, and he also performs in many of them. Together, they have created a diverse body of work under the Human Works banner. The company has premiered several critically acclaimed and award-winning productions, including seven full-length performances and numerous shorter works in both theatre and dance. Their work has toured widely across Europe and beyond, supported by funding from institutions such as the Norwegian and Belgian Arts Councils, the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the European Commission through the Departs Network. Human Works has collaborated with renowned partners and festivals, including Oktoberdans in Bergen, Coda Festivalin Oslo, Stuk, Monty, and Kaaitheater in Belgium, and the iDANS Festival in Istanbul, among others.
